Vision and Origins
Health Plus is a platform dedicated to fostering collaboration and innovation in healthcare. It connects startups, companies, research and clinical institutions, and support organisations to jointly develop solutions that improve people’s health and strengthen the competitiveness of the economy.
The health innovation support ecosystem in Slovenia has been evolving since 2021, when the Slovenian Enterprise Fund (SPS) began developing specialised programmes for this vertical.
Healthcare is one of the most demanding innovation sectors — progress requires long development paths, regulatory compliance, and real-world validation. This is not an industry of overnight unicorns, but one built on persistence and collaboration.

Through the platform, we promote cooperation and co-create a smarter, more sustainable healthcare system by focusing on:
